Get Ramen Noir ready
Follow the active tutorial objectives for tables, chairs and the menu. Choose dishes you can supply, then check each recipe’s ingredients and processing equipment. Chicken, Onions and Ramen Noodles are part of the opening shopping trip; buy the amount shown on your own shopping list.
At Meridian Market, Far Hifadden’s Greengrocer stall sells Ramen Noodles. Buy the ingredient named Ramen Noodles, then return to Ramen Noir. Open the refrigerator or cupboard transfer window and move the ingredients from your backpack into the restaurant’s stock. Carrying food does not make it available to the kitchen.
Follow the recipe tutorial
Talk to the recipe NPCs indicated by Banor. When Nola Berg raises the subject of competition, “We’re all in this together.” is a successful route to the Beer recipe. Check for the recipe notification and the instruction to return to Banor.
Learning a recipe is only the first step. Add it to the menu and supply its ingredients and equipment. Expand a red menu warning to see what is missing.
Hire for the work you need
Use the hiring process to recruit a Waiter. In the venue’s Staff screen, confirm the role, wages and schedule. Cover the opening hours while keeping the employee’s mood in mind; copying someone else’s long shift can leave your worker unhappy.
Waiters take orders, serve and clear tables. Cleaners handle floor rubbish and storage cleanup. A worker with several duties may spend the whole shift on the earlier tasks, so watch where orders or dirty dishes start to queue.
A routine for the next few days
- Check the menu for missing ingredients or equipment.
- Transfer purchases into the venue, and keep enough money for wages and restocking.
- Check that employees are present and their shifts cover business hours.
- Return to read Reviews and look for stalled service or cleanup.
- Complete the next expansion objectives before buying more furniture.

End the night safely
